New York Knicks vs. Utah Jazz: Best bets and props for Sunday’s game
Although the New York Knicks have won two games in a row, their playoff (or more likely play-in) hopes are coming to an end. Next up for them is Utah Jazz, which will be part of the post-season festivities in one form or another. Utah is 44-26 heading into Sunday’s meeting with the Knicks. Let’s take a look at the best bets to make on this match.

Jazz -5 (-110)
First off, it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to get carried away with some sort of huge, confident play in this game. That’s because Utah is without Mike Conley (knee) and Bojan Bogdanovic (calf). Donovan Mitchell missed Friday’s game against the Clippers with Bogdanovic because the star guard was also struggling with a calf problem. The good news for Utah is that Mitchell is not on Sunday’s injury report. It should also be noted that the Jazz destroyed the Clippers 121-92 even without two of their most important players. More good news for the visitors’ chances of winning and covering the spread is that they will remain extremely motivated despite being well below the playoff boundary line. The Jazz are only three games ahead of No. 7 Minnesota, so they’ll be eager to keep winning. Both Utah and New York have two straight wins, but the sample size for the Knicks (30-40 overall this season) is obviously much smaller. Expect the Jazz to win this one in comfortable fashion.
More than 222.5 (-110)
Don’t be too alarmed that New York has held its last two opponents to less than 100 points. Washington is a bad basketball team and Portland is the worst in the entire conference right now. Utah is a whole different beast. The Jazz are coming off 125 and 121 points (the latter without Mitchell) and in their most recent win before that two-game streak, they scored 123 points. Mitchell has scored at least 24 points in his last four games, including 37 against Chicago on Wednesday. A total of 222.5 is not particularly important, so go back above it.

Julius Randle Over 1.5 three-point shots made (-128)
Randle has calmed down from downtown over the past two games, but that’s no cause for alarm. He continued to multiply attempts – 12 in total. Prior to those two outings, the former Kentucky star was 17 for 36 of three in four games. With Rudy Gobert on the inside for Utah, expect Randle to do more work than usual on the perimeter. He went 2 for 5 from the land of plenty in the previous meeting between the two teams this season. Randle should be good for a few more treys – at least – on Sunday.
