Malik Beasley sets high expectations for transition to jazz with huge personal goal
It’s been a crazy offseason for the Utah Jazz as the organization goes through major changes. The franchise received a series of draft picks by sending Rudy Gobert to the Denver Nuggets, giving the front office the tools to replenish the roster. Meanwhile, the free agent signing is aiming to make some noise in the 2022-23 NBA season, as Malik Beasley hopes for a big year.
According to Tony Jones, Beasley is aiming for the stars this year with the Jazz. He has yet to be a league All-Star throughout his career, but wants it to happen at Utah. It will be interesting to see if he can achieve this goal, as he is in a great position to see it through.

The Jazz are going to need some of their players to step in with Rudy Gobert off the board. Plus, Donovan Mitchell can’t do it all on his own. Malik Beasley can serve as a legitimate goal option for Utah and will get a chance to prove himself. That’s up to him, as we haven’t seen many All-Star performances from the veteran shooter.
The 2020-21 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves has been the best of his career so far. It was Malik Beasley’s first time playing the starting minutes and he proved to be a reliable goalscorer during that time. For him to earn an All-Star appearance, Beasley will need to surpass his career high. It would be an ideal situation for him and the Jazz.
