Live jazz music on May 22!

Want to get out of the house and attend a popular event and participate in a good cause at the same time? I’ve been in the house too long and I’m thinking of branching out into a social distancing event that I was invited to and wanted to share with you.
If you’re not familiar, there’s a quaint, upscale venue called Studio 229 on Brevard in Uptown Charlotte and they’re having an evening with Jazz Legend Contemporary jazz saxophonist Mike Phillips and celebrity guests, including Jay Harris of ‘ESPN, John Luke, STORAGE WARS, William Wilson; NASCAR CHAMPION/CELEBRITY DESIGNER & Alexander Martin; CO-FOUNDER OF FUBU. And let’s not forget Beverly Crowder, the singer/songwriter/recording artist.
Proceeds will go to the William Wilson Clothier Classic, which raises money for domestic violence on May 22, 2021, starting at 7 p.m. Ladies, dress up like a cocktail party or come from the office in your sassy, bejeweled after-five glam suit. There will be a cash bar, light bites, and surround yourself with good company of like-minded people. This event is a registered event type, so they’ll know you’re attending on Eventbrite via this link.
