In a recent interview, the rapper told MacG that KO asked him to write a rap verse in vernac before signing it to his former record label Cashtime Records.
Kid X has gone full throttle in the rap game since performing on Caracara with KO Kid X, formerly known for his kasi songs, returned to the hip hop space with Father of Zen, a meditation playlist on the focus and sincerity. The rapper took a sabbatical from his music career, but dropping the Father of Zen album sent a clear message that he’s still relevant in the SA rap game.
