Do you like jazz music? Sola Jazz Lounge is the new place to find it

Live jazz music has a way of bringing audiences together like no other genre. The varied melodies and spontaneous beats captivate fans through a variety of subdivisions, in a way that must be enjoyed live to truly appreciate.

The Sola Jazz Lounge is the new venue to champion the genre, hidden inside the new Raffles The Palm Dubai hotel. Offering sounds ranging from soulful jazz, to funk and Latin; Sola has a roster of talented musical artists Tuesday through Saturday each week.

Claudia Patrice performs soul, jazz and Motown tunes on Tuesdays, while the Nutella Riot Trio offers gypsy jazz on Wednesdays and Carrie Gibson’s funky five-piece jazz band Nuvo takes the stage on Thursdays.

JR Trio features a different guest every week for their Latin Jazz show on Fridays, and the duo Henrick Solera will showcase their talented voice and touches every Saturday.

Dishes on the menu include bar snacks such as crispy fried panko calamari with jalapeño and spicy mayo, rock prawn tempura with togarashi and black truffle dressing and black cod and prawn gyoza, otoro flambé and den miso sauce.

Cocktails are a big priority for the venue, whose signature sling cocktail is the first to be enjoyed with or without spirits, while maintaining the integrity of its flavors. It uses vegan aquafaba to achieve the unique micro foam on top, as envisioned by award-winning house bartender, Zlato Kihler.
