Did you know that heart disease is the second leading cause of death in Iredell County? Consider giving your local community the gift of heart health by purchasing your ticket to the Iredell Health Foundation’s first annual Heart of Jazz, benefiting the Iredell Health System’s Heart and Vascular Fund.
As the only accredited chest pain center in Statesville, the Cardiac and Vascular Center at Iredell Memorial Hospital provides the community with a full range of high-quality, personalized cardiac and vascular care. Last year alone, the Heart & Vascular Center performed more than 5,000 cardiovascular procedures. In addition to the Heart & Vascular Center, Iredell Health System serves its community by providing cardiovascular services through the Iredell Vascular Clinic, Iredell Cardiology, Statesville Cardiovascular Clinic and a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program.
To support the lifesaving efforts of cardiologists, vascular surgeons, nurses, and technicians across the healthcare system, the Iredell Health Foundation has established the Cardiac & Vascular Care Fund. Proceeds from Heart of Jazz go to this fund.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together to create the most advanced cardiac and vascular care for our local residents. Funds raised this evening will purchase new equipment and expand cardiac service offerings at Iredell Health System, while helping these patients pay the cost of their treatments,” said Jen Balog, Executive Director of the Iredell Health Foundation.

Heart of Jazz will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 13 at Venues at Langtree in Mooresville.
The event will feature live musical performances by cardiologist Ray Georgeson, followed by Mo Money, a five-piece jazz band made up of the country’s top session musicians, songwriters and producers – all of whom have national credits. performance and recording. Mo Money is also the Carolina Panthers’ home band for every game.
Additionally, Heart of Jazz will be hosting a silent auction, cash bar, hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary signature drink.
