The core idea behind SmartInk I is to reclaim the back of your phone as functional hardware rather than wasted space. Most of the rear surface is covered by a low-power E Ink display that stays legible in bright sunlight and sips energy. No app launches or menu navigation needed—capture ideas, meetings, or spontaneous thoughts quickly. Recordings sync to the companion app over Bluetooth or Wi‑Fi, where AI tools transcribe, extract key points, and create structured to-do lists. Those summaries can then be pushed back to the E Ink display, creating a seamless loop: capture, review, and act—all on the same device.
REETLE keeps the thickness down by shaving the battery under 1 mm and the display module to roughly 1.5 mm, while preserving structural integrity. The design includes corner guards, tempered glass, and a rugged build capable of withstanding everyday drops and scratches. It also supports MagSafe passthrough charging, so you can recharge both phone and case without removal.
Operationally, the case stays out of your way. Power comes from an internal battery rated for up to 10 hours of continuous reading or recording, with a standby life of up to seven days, ensuring the E Ink display and recording features remain usable even when your phone’s battery is low.
