Pat McAfee appears ready for another major leap, this time toward Hollywood stardom. The charismatic sports host isn’t stopping at dominating YouTube, sports TV, and pro wrestling; a new report says he’s brought on powerhouse agent Ari Emanuel to guide his film and TV ambitions. Emanuel’s stated mission, per Bloomberg, is to transform McAfee into the “next Sylvester Stallone.”
Bloomberg notes that beyond his already teased role in the sports drama The Mosquito Bowl, McAfee will also contribute to a four-episode storyline on Tulsa King, Taylor Sheridan’s current Paramount+ series. This marks a broader expansion of McAfee’s entertainment footprint beyond his existing cameos and hosting duties.
McAfee has long blended entertainment with his day job, whether entertaining crowds on WWE Raw or headlining his own Big Night Aht events. Transitioning to action-leaning film and television roles could very well be his most ambitious career move yet.
Earlier this year, he demonstrated his acting chops in a Super Bowl flag football spot, playing a convincing high-school teacher. His Halloween costume this past season—a parody of a cautious, old-school sports media gatekeeper—turned heads as well, signaling his willingness to embrace bold, showy characters.
While crossover stars like Stallone, Dwayne Johnson, and John Cena are rarities, Emanuel’s track record makes him a compelling ally for McAfee. Emanuel, founder of Endeavor and a key player in the sports-t entertainment crossover with the UFC and WWE through the TKO Group, continues to cultivate a client roster that includes The Rock, among others.
McAfee appears eager to explore every available media channel. Earlier this year he released a diss track titled “Dookie” and has teased an autobiographical documentary project. He’s also launched a live video podcast on X, Rushmore, produced by Emanuel, where they dissect legendary athletes with guests.
The partnership seems symbiotic and could accelerate McAfee’s arrival on the big screen sooner rather than later, turning entertainment dreams into a tangible Hollywood presence.
